Sherwood 1.6

Sherwood 1.6 has been launched.


Lot's of behind the scenes changes. The Q/A interface (the one used for in game help) and the quest interface have merged. That's why the quest interface looks different - with icons for the reward items. This was done so I can create more complex quests that might not fit on one page and have a generic interface I can adapt in the future for blacksmiths and trainers.

Chests on the islands were a challenge because of how tightly linked they were to the dungeon. They will be needed for quest items in the future if I decide to do collection quests.

Sell prices were dropped in half. This is partialy mitigated by the fact that monster drop items on the islands, but also just intented to make gold a little harder to aquire.

Health potions were capped at 10, but only for new potions. If you already have a lot of potions I don't take them away. I suspect this will sort itself out over time.

I'm out of letters under 1.5z so I moved to 1.6. I rewired some of the underlying systems so it was a bigger change for me than it was for you - basically prepping for future updates. - Gene on facebook.

I think your like the only one on this site that actually plays Sherwood, but thanks for the update.
